Black spring problems
#1
What's up guys,
I need a little help. I installed a black spring with about 80 miles on my bike. It now has 432 miles and the wheelies are harder to come by. When I installed the spring, I already had the 27 outlaws on and I could feel the difference the black spring made. Is it time to check the deflection and tighten the belt? Thanks for any input.

No, I didn't remove any shims when I installed spring. I guess I'll go on Nyroc's site for belt adjusting info. If belt and clutch are glazed, how do I solve the problem? Do I have to buy another belt? Thanks for the input.

I did almost the same thing as you and the same thing happened to me, instead of removing shims or checking deflection, I just bought the Prairie 360 belt, which is a little wider and of course it was new. All problems went away and I got the low end power back, plus gained a few extra mph on top end also because of wider belt. Just a thought?? Or you can always just check deflection and maybe remove some shims.
