Default PROCIRCUIT DUALS?????

looking to buy a set but would like to here some comments.compared to stock how loud are they?do you have the quite core, can you still buy the quite core.i know its goin to be louder than stock but im looking for something wih a good tolerable rumble.rockt mountain has them for $611 but discontinued the quite cores.im going to get a set for sure if i can get the quite cores.also, which end cap do they have?in the march copy of dirt wheels on page 45 they have an ad.is that what the dual end caps look like or is it the one that sticks out and has the turn down?also what jetting did you go with, stock jet or dyno jet kits?thanks.

They are quite a bit louder then stock, I personally like it that way I have no experience with the quiet core so I'm no help there. The tips come just like the ad you mentioned. VNASTY says you can pull the stainless tips off and buff the aluminum underneath and it looks sweet. Haven't had a chance to do mine yet, it's been too cold for my blood

They have a healthy tone to them that sound just right.I got mine from www.magicracing.com for around $530.The tips look good stock or if you take the SS covers off. They are not a turn down style straight out the back.I run 150f/155r jetting,.032th needle shims,4-1"holes on the sides of the box(2onL,2onR),K&N air filter,Baffle inside the box removed,2-turns out on the air screw, and I am at sealevel. They kicka$$ in my eyes the are same pipes that Kawasaki uses for a factory up-grade.

VNASTY,
You may be right about the Pro Circuit pipes being the same as the Authorized Kaw. Accessory dual pipes for the Vforce. There is an article in March 04 issue of 4 wheel atv action that reviews the AKA pipes. They say these duals are made by Pro Circuit and add noticeable power gains...however, they also said they are VERY LOUD and VERY EXPENSIVE...$950 for dual pipes if you buy them from Kaw.

Happy trails...

There is really no point in having the quiet cores as they cut the power considerably. They sound really cool just the way they are. The spark arrester screens quiet them some. I polished the stainless headers and end caps with 2000 grit sand paper before i put them on. They look really cool.
