It won't damage your engine, but it'll seriously deplete your wallet. It's a waste of money. If you haven't done any serious head work, you're pissing away your money. 92 octane is more than enough. I run 87 in mine.

If I remeber right...when you get to a higher octane and you do not need it you actually lose power...I remember reading it on here once and there was reasons given but I am not clear what they were exactly

Wel..octane makes a engine run better..it makes the fuel burn straiter and cleaner..The only reason I asked if it would harm it is because it gained alot of poer after i added the gas to it..thats all..thanks agian.

Higher octane only makes a motor run better that's tuned or built for it. The higher the octane the slower the fuel burns. It has nothing to do with how "clean" you think it burns. The only thing you're doing is wasting money by using 110 octane fuel. You may have perceived that your motor had more power, but put it on a dyno and you've gained nothing. In fact, as stated above, you probably lost power.

One of the biggest wastes of money is people burning 92 octane gasoline in their Chevy (Ford, Dodge) pickups and thinking it has more power or keeps the motor cleaner. This is just brainwashing by the big oil companies. Your V-Force motor was built to run optimum on 87 octane fuel. Unless you're going to tear into the motor and mess with your head clearance you're pissing your money away.

a higher octane will burn slower while a lower octane will burn faster u half to use teh right octane-compression to get the most power using 110 octane just when u got a fmf pipe and clutch kit isnt going to get you anywhere except less on money teh only time u need to change your gas is when u do work to your engine.
