Default Switched to synthetic

I just changed over to QS Synthetic oil in my P400. I was kind of sceptical of synthetics but now im a believer. It feels overall better. I dont think its in my head either, it really does feel like it runs better. Anyone else have this feeling or is it in my head?

You'll find several things with synthetic:

1) Easier to start when cold (and easier on the engine).
2) A little more power (less friction).
3) Oil lasts longer and doesn't break down like dino oil (better for the engine).
4) Longer engine life (because of better lubrication and less friction)
5) More money, but worth it.

Bascially, the oil stays at the viscosity you buy. Conventional oil is like pudding when cold, and water when hot, so you don't get consistent lubrication.

I saw on TV that it's suppose to net 3-5% more HP as well. I did notice a difference swapping out all fluids in my truck to synthetic.

Yeah, I was so convinced that today I put Valvoline Synpower in my 01 F150. None of the Synthetics are cheap, but now that ive seen how they can make a difference.
I read somwhere on the net tonight that synthetics make the most noticeable difference in smaller engines, lawn mowers, 4 wheelers, go carts. hmmm.

Probably the lawn mowers and go-carts since they recommend straight 30 oil in them.
