swing-arm extension? (V-force)
OK with all these mods being talked about (FST800,CDI,ALKY,Clutching,etc...)
I am thinking how in the HECK I am going to keep the front end of my V-force down with all these mods???
Looking at the rear-end on the V-force, it looks like someone could fabricate a 4"(my preference) spacer in the swing-arm. It looks like all the important stuff like the brake and shock are before the "split" in the casing. It wouls require a longer drive shaft put that should be a huge deal.
Who is going to make one for US???
Bigger.

We haven't done it yet, but are in the process this winter,... we want to lengthen our wheel base to get more weight on the front, not because of wheelies, but for pulling.
Here's what we're doing. we made up two tabs made of 3/4 in thick metal, with 7/8" hole in them, that will be welded on the frame work 4 inches behind where it is now (or more if wanted). mount the swing arms in those holes.
inside your swing arm there is a short drive shaft...but between the drive shaft and the motor is a 3 1/4 inch sleeve with splines on the inside. we are going to buy another sleeve and weld the two together. this will make a 6 1/2 inch sleeve, cut it off to fit and get a longer rubber boot to cover.
cut off your top shock mount and have another made that will move it out what ever distance needed.
Could change the angle of the swing arm and angle of shock if needed or wanted. I belive the swing arm could be mounted an inch higher and be the same as add 2-3 inches of length.
It'll be awhile before we do ours, motor is out. Maybe we should start makeing kits...lol
Swing arm extentions....$50.00...lol

Shotgun,
I didn't go to quite that expense I made a new shaft to go between the pinion the one that splits the rear axle to the swing arm. I extended mine by 2 inches this was enough it lowered the back end and I lowered the front as well for drag racing plus ice racing. Dropping the quad by 2 inches improves the handling a great deal, corners like it is on rails!! Masterblastr has seen my quad it sits lower than his by almost 3 inches he can't believe how fast it is in the corners and on the straights.

I have a V-force 1 inch longer one. After we make sure it holds up to the 800 I will put them in to production. We may be able to make them longer but for TT racing and drags it will lower it and will probly work fine. I am setting this one up for GNCC with a longer Elka shock to get more travle so when we hit bumps at 70+ mph we don't go over the bars
