Chop,
Just to clarify...the Big Gun cdi thingy for sale in Rockymtn's new catalog is designed for the V-force 700 (BUT NOT FOR THE P650/P700). Nevertheless, I too am interested in hearing how it performs on a V-force. Anyone out there tried it yet on their V-force?

I spoke to Scott, at Dynatek, on friday afternoon. He informed me that they the parts in house and are assembling the CDI's. He told me that they are on track to start selling the CDIs the first week in April. Unfortunately, Dynatek has still not set a price for the CDI, so it is still a mystery as to how much they are going to be asking for it. If you emailed Dynatek in the past, regarding the CDI, he has your name and email address. He will be sending out an email w/ price info, and availability, as soon as he is given the ok from the office.

I have Alltoy's test Dyna CDI. Today I stuck it on a brand ne 700P that was purchased Wed. the 17th. I put on the Dalton clutch plate, Dalton blue primary spring, and Dalton secondary spring, and put Maxxis All Traks on the stock rims. The quad had 7.3 miles on it, we opened it up and at 72MPH let off,,, didn't want to hold a brand new engine wide open too long ya know! Stuck the CDI on a 03 650 P with 1174 miles on it and hit 68 but the axle and rims are not true and the vibrations were too much!

Prairewrench,
What adjustments, if any, did you do to the carb when you put the cdi on the p650, also what kind of improvements did you see in the bottom end?

Alltoys: Should the modules be removed from the bike before plugging the cdi in?

Fireman650,
You can leave the module hooked up if you wish it does not interfere with the workings of the new cdi as it does not take any information from the pink wire at all. The pink wire is now useless on the new cdi, I took out my module as it collects dust now so it is up to you if you wish to remove it.

Hey alltoys, what sort of ballpark figure do the cams from FST or similar cost then what would they probably cost for installation?
