Default Repacking a Silencer?

I need to repack my silencer. Hopefully it will quiet things down abit! When I took it apart the packing was pushed up against the outside of the silencer making it louder! I bought new packing that is string like fibers and plan on surrounding the mesh tube that runs through the silencer with packing then wrap it with fiberglass cloth. How tight do I wrap it? The tighter the better or does it need to be loose to absorb exhaust?

Any help would be great! I never repacked a silencer before thought some of you have!

Thanks

Will,
Not sure of how to pack the silencer but your clutch is on the way and should be at your door step very soon.

SWEEEEEET!!!! Alltoys I can't wait to try them out this spring! That and the CDI should really make her get up and boggie! I will let you know when I get them and how they work.

Thanks again for all your hard R&D work!
