Tire choice on P700
#11
I see in the new Dirt Wheels mag. ITP is advertising 26" ATR'S for 2004. New size are front 205/85R12, rears are 255/70R12. These might just be what we are all looking, for a taller ATR.

I agree with therock. I love my ATR holeshot from ITP. They are the best tires I have ever driven in the snow. They don't sink as much in the snow as mud oriented tires and bite good for good traction. Very stable at any speed, they are performance tires for 4wd atvs. Not to heavy, thus not effecting the Atv's fuel economy and performances and top speed by consuming power like mudtires do. Only downside I see from ATRs is the space between the treads might be a little more fragile to a flat tire in the woods, but in the summer I always ride hard through the woods and have had only one flat tire yet.

As for getting flats with any tire, I use multi-seal . Slime has the market place fooled. It will work to a degree, however break a tire down that has been slimed with the amount suggested. Multi-Seal is the real stuff. Don't leave home without it.
