I made aluminum radiator air scoops for the "V"...
i used a dremel tool and done it from the back side. Then took a fine file to remove all the bumps and where the plastic melted a very little bit. I also took a torch and ran over it fast front and back to melt any burrs off. Just take your time and it will come out nice. Mark

The coating I had done is called their "Sterling" coat. They were awesome to deal with and had my pipes back to me in a weeks time. Only cost me $135 for both pipes.

i just sent you a e-mail for you to send me the info.
i have another question on the pipe thing.
if you coat the outside and that keeps the heat down on the outside does the heat get trapped on the inside and does that cause the motor to run hotter, i hope you understand my question.

I made aluminum radiator air scoops for the "V"...
heat goes out the hole, motor runs cooler. less heat around the outide of the motor as well, one of the mags took before and after jet-hot temps on the out side of the pipe. something like 500 degrees without 250 degrees with coating. my two pennies for you.
