Default Drive Belt on P-650 '02

Hey guys,

I got a question about the belt on the Prairie 650. Is there a way to tighten the belt on it or to adjust it and make it tighter. i can feel it slip when i'm trying to pull someone out or boggin' hard. or do i have to buy a new belt? thats what the service guy said at the dealer where i brought it to. and if you can adjust the belt how do you do it. Thank You.

Here is a link to all you need to know (link doesn't work after 12: PM EST).

Some of the info on that website is also here.

This is also good reading for belt care.

Pay particular attention to the clutch sheave faces. If it has been slipping for a long time, they may be glazed/damaged.
