Default NITROUS on their V?

ok, let me check tommorrow. I think it would be best to mount a activation button by one of the grips for you to push to turn the spray "on". Other than that, should be very cool.

Here is a helpful site on building your own system and even if you’re not going to build your own this is a very informative site on Nitrous.

I do a lot of NOS and NX installs on DS's. On the V, would you put the nozzles in the rubber intake? I have seen this done on a DS with duel carbs that had a rubber intake. The intake was drilled and the nozzles were screwed in and still seem loose. With a little silicone and a couple of zip ties, it just made sure they didn't pull out.

I have seen one V with NX on it were I ride, but I didn't get a chance to look at the install.

Yeah, That is what I would do. Plus, the NX stuff has a sort of lock washer thing that you tighten up on the intake boot and then screw the shark nozzle into that.

i heard that with the nos system u could hook it up so when you hit the button, it gets sprayed right onto the airfilter. would this be a good setup or would it be a waste?

I assuem the NOS kit is a dry kit? See, that gets into the whole dry vs. wet kit debate. I personally like to know that my fuel is going in with the nitrous.

Just adding myself to the thread for updates for TEddy700. I too think the Boondocker system is fail-safe if installed correctly and 15-20% in hp is very respectable.
