I am looking for the same thing. I have seen pictures of the prairies with shock covers but yet to find a dealer who has them, All they ever have is the rear one.

Good news there an outwear filter for the Prairie 650 2002.
Bad news it is not compatible with a K&N filter, it is compatible with the Twin Air filter, I bought mine from Mike Penland.

Thanks for the info LB, I talked to Outerwear today they said no but I was the second person to call about them TODAY!?(maybe that would be a hint) K&N said they might be bringing one out, but it was ok to run with out one in really dusty conditions! Does this sound right??

Some use nylon stockings with the K&N filter to help with dust protection, but the nylon is not waterproof like the outwear.
