Thats a good question. For me the answer is simple. The shocks since I already modified my stock muffler. I guess if I had neither I would go with the HMF.

I'm in the same situation but I am definitely going for the springs and will probably do the Nyroc muffler mod too. It's no hmf but it's better than stock. If you add the hmf you may need to rejet which will end up costing you more.

Good luck, let us know what you decide.

I would go with the springs. I waited for a while before I put my Elka springs on, once they were on I wished I hadn't waited so long.

Peace,

Remember you will be needing to re-jet after the muffler thing.

Guess someone needs to ask, so I will. Are you refering to suspension springs or clutch springs?
