I wouln't wait any longer that I have to! I did prefer green (my 650 was green) but the new red 700 is growing very fast on me. Green one are harder for dealers to sell so on a retail side red is more what people buy. Only you can decide what looks better on Kawi's page you can see red or green. the green is the same green as the 650. And I sill think they all look better covered in mud.

KAWI650 is right... they do look better covered in mud... when the 650 Prairie 1st came out, the red ones had the silver wheels, racks, & grey seats, rather than the brown ones that come on all of them now... IMO, the green looks better with the brown ( I never did like that "Eddie Bauwer" look of red & brown )... The camo seems to be a lot harder finish, & resists scratching better than either the red or the green, though I don't really like the "lack of visibility" in the woods that the camo has, the harder plastic finish is a definate plus... if Kawi would offer the red with the original grey racks, wheels, & seat, I'd go with the red, but IMO, the green & camo both go better with the stock brown racks, wheels, & seat...

I agree the P700 in Red realy looked alot better when the wheels and racks were silver, thats why when I herd there was a blue clone available with the original silver trim I put a deposite on one last fall with expectations of getting it last october. I went through the Kawi plant last january and they just started building the yellow ones, Its looks pretty cool too. Last month I took a buddy up to the plant and went through agan for another look, and the Blue ones were in Production finaly!!!!!!!!!!!! I must say they look Awsome!!!!!!!!!! in blue and silver trim. If the time line I have witnessed holds true My new blue P700/twinpeaks will be here this week. It seems that once they ship from the plant, it take about a month to make it through the distrabution centers and back out to the dealers. If you have not seen a blue one you should take a look befor you buy, I think it is the best looking one out here.
