I have just under 1400 miles, of rough riding, on my stock rims. 600 miles w/ the stock dunlops. The remaining miles w/ 26" Mudlites. The rims have held up well. They have the usual dings and dents, but most of those occured w/ the stock tires. So far, so good, w/ the stock rims. They are .160 aluminum and are one of the lightest rims you will find for the P700. Douglas .190, and C-series are also good choices. I would stay away from steel rims due to weight concerns.

 

My bad! My fronts are 26X9X12s. I have no rubbing issues at all. With my combination the balance of the ATV is great. It jumps well without the"NOSE DIVE" i had with a Rancher.

 

If using stock rims You will have no problems, I have 27x10x12 on the front, 27x12x12 rear, (mudlites) with stock rims, it is a great combo. The mudlites are great for mud & trails, but they suck on hard pack, (asphalt). Good luck!

On my p700 the front tires (27x10x12 mudlites) are hitting the plastic that is part of the new p700 front bumper. This only happens when turned all the way to one side when I hit a bump or am doing something that causes the tire to flex to the inside. A good example is when doing donuts or making a tight turn with a little speed or over rough ground. Normally there is abour 1/4" of space but under those two cases it rubs. Keep in mind that I have c series wheels so I would expect it to be worse with factory wheels. Also the plastic could easily be trimmed but I do not know if that will be enough for factory rims.
