Fast Lakota??
#2
How deep is your wallet.....with the mods on my lakota in my sig I will top out at about 56-57 mph on a long paved road, not bad considering Im 6'2" 230 lbs. You can always gear up and get more topend, but you will be losing a lot of bottomend power that way also. FST has a 330 kit for the lakota, dont know what type of power it really puts out though, also dont know the cost of it either.
More power = spending more money

Dirthead is correct,
But, if your a cheapskate...lol........$7 dollars for a 13t sprocket and anywhere from $20-40 for a air filter........this will give you a dramatic performance gain over stock
Hey Dirthead, did you jet the Lakota after you put the pipe on?.....or just adjust the carb...
Im thinking of poppin on a pipe but no jetting.

I got the IDS2 and k&n jet kit at the same time, and did both at the same time. Those two mods I believe kind of go hand-n-hand, if you do one without the other you will only see slight gains. Open the exhaust and rejet so more fuel flows (also get aftermarket air filter) and you will be happy with the gains.

I had the basic mods on mine (clamp on air filter,IDS 2 w/race core,13t fornt,41t rear and 18 inch holeshots) and it was clocked 2 something like 62-63.Cannt remeber for sure. But right now Im putting it back together after a rebiuld.I installed a FST 322 big bore kit (every one calls it a 330 though)with a FST cam.I also did some custom work to the clutches(yes both of them)and had CWR lighten the flywheel.Mohawk Motorsports (myself) did the full race port work,5 angle vavle job,and installed a mojave carb holder(it has a larger bore). Also Im installing a 400EX carb with the choke removed. This time Ill run a 14t in the front and a 40t inthe rear. With the engine work and the change in gears it should come close to doing 70 with some luck.I should have it running by this comming weekend. When I do Ill post what it does.
