Default 10W30 in P650 engine and front case?

Can I run Kawasaki 10W30 in my Prarie 650's engine and front case? My buddy gave me several quarts of Kawasaki 10w30 and since it is time for my first oil change on the Prairie 650 I figured I could just use this oil - but the manual says 10W40 for both the engine and the front case. Thanks for any help!

I use 10-30 during the winter months & 10-40 during the summer months...

that's fine. The manual has a temp/oil weight chart. KAW recommends a range of 5W30, to 20W50, It depends on temps./conditions.
