Default p360 lift and tire help

does anyone have a lift on there p360? i want to put 26 or 27 vamps or outlaws on it and was wondering if anyone else has done this, i know i will lose power but i dont care. i mosty just cruse around and then massive mud holes. also is there better clutch springs for the 360 like there is for the 700? if i did put 27's on it what could i buy to help with the power loss?

Default p360 lift and tire help

Hey Beastman

You might want to try the mods I did--- low and mid range seem awesome(I have not yet compared it to a stock 360 but i think I will smoke them) I have been trying to get more power and speed on the top end, but none of these mods helped me yet (although I did gain about 2 mph climbing a steep hill on my test track (did 28 mph stock now pulling at top of hill a solid 30mph) I installed offset key earlier this week and think that finally my dial a jet is working---will play around with dial a jet this weekend to confirm.

Let me know if i can be of any help

I drilled my muffler out as per nyroc instructions (do search on this forum for nyroc muffler mod---the 360 muffler is different than the 650 that nyroc did but i am happy with results
the rest of my mods were ordered online--air filter was easy to find dial a jet can be purchased from www.rockymountainatv.com
flywheel key involves pulling flywheel and installing a key that advances your timing---i purchased key from mike penland call him at 706 746-2812 the key for the 650 does fit the 360.

there is agreat search engine on this forum page---just type whatever interests you in and you will be suprised---try typing in Prairie 360

Raise your compression. Right now it is 8.3:1. Make it 9.5:1 or so.

Like the MAN SAID raise compression

That will be one of my next steps along with retarding the cam timing(do a search if you dont know what this means, but it will not give you more low end, will adjust your power band to come on a little later)

I am feeling around to see if it is possible to shave head down to raise compression

stay tuned
