warn vs ramsey winch

warn vs ramsey winch
Has anyone had a ramsey winch apart. I wonder if it is sealed. I removed my 2.5 warn winch and cleaned it out.
It was full of mud and starting to corrode. It isn't sealed at all. For 400.00 it should be better than that.

warn vs ramsey winch
I just ordered a Warn 3.0 winch,I spoke to a Warn dealer and I think the Warn 3.0 is made more watertight than the 2.5,the 3.0 also has a lifetime warranty as compared to a 1 year warranty on the 2.5.I don't know what the difference is from Ramsey to Warn winches.I am interested in finding out also!
