Harsh Conditions Help !!!

On the far north east coast of Canada "Nova Scotia" we have a wide range of conditions.
The temperature will range from -30c to +30c and
everything from several feet of snow to 20 feet high sand dunes. Other than common sense and what is in the manual are there any other helpfull hints on care and maintenance.
