My father in law keeps on taking my AC 300 4x4 to do work on his hobby farm. He is thinking about getting a ATV for himself. I know my mother in law would prefer a auto transmission. I was wondering how the Prairie 300 4x4 has been holding up? I don't think it could pull as much as the AC, but can it pull heavy loads (over 1,000 lbs) without hurting the belt or the cultch?

Thanks for your input.

While the 300 likely would pull anything you ask it to, especially with its low range, I'd go for the 400.

Thanks Tree Farmer, we live in MN and would prefer to stick with a air cooled engine.
