Wild Will,
I just called Scott at Dynatek and asked about the tether kill switch issue. He said the new cdi requires a "normally closed" tether kill switch. I currently have a Pro Design tether kill switch connected to the gray wire on my key ignition switch and Scott said that my switch is "normally open" b/c it doesn't close the circuit (which goes to a ground wire on my quad) until after the tether cord is pulled out.

He suggested that I buy a different tether kill switch (which is normally closed) if I want to use one in conjuction with the new cdi. He suggested Star Performance Parts at 1-800-841-7827. I will probably just disconnect my tether kill switch and not replace it (its not required in my local racing series anyway).

Happy trails...

Alltoys,
The more I think about it I am going to keep it under 80mph. You can push the envelope for now!! Maybe someday I will get there. I have a family to think about that needs me!!!!! I will work on getting there as quick as possible though! Thanks again for all your help!

Mike,
Thanks for the info! I will be given Star a call and will let you know. I think I want one to protect others as well as myself. Put a twist throttle on and have to get use to it!!!

PW,
In do time, we will have what you have now! I wanted a Kawasaki gripper seat but really haven't looked for one. I know no Armorall will come close to my seat!! Maybe some stickum will work! I should have asked MD today about a seat cover when I called him about pilot jets. He said he drilled out some stock ones but really didn't help your bike? Maybe I will have him drill me out some different sizes and try them?
