You think he would have learned from the licks he took for his DG fandom.
Goofy.
I'm actually surprised that thread has survived as long as it has. I figured it would have been killed the first day.

Alltoys,
HE HE HE Since I haven't ran it with that swiss cheese of a clutch. Thats why I forgot, but after I crack that throttle open I am sure I will not forget about it anymore!!!!!!!
PW,
It must be a hard time with out your baby! Keep yourself busy and it will be July before you know it
I ordered a Gunnar tether switch with a closed circuit right from Parts Unlimited at my dealer. It is a new item (closed circuit) this year. Must be alot more CDI that will take that certain switch that is why they are making them. It has a pig tail that hooks to one of the coils. I already have one for the tach, so I will use the other for the tether. I think Dennis Kirk has them too!

Has anyone gotten an order confirmation yet on their CDI? Usually the drill is you order, the company acknowledges the order thru email, and then sends another email when the item is shipped. Haven't heard a peep from Dynatek. Maybe they have a different procedure?

Kawiyowee, I dont know Dyna's ordering procedures, but I am sure you'll get it. The worst that can happen is that it hasn't shipped yet. Dynatek isn't going to take your money and then fold.
I have stopped even looking on the high lifter forum. They have lost credibility in my opinion. There are too many people posting what I think is mumbo jumbo and hokus pokus, like Steve-o saying the HL module will do better than the Dyna CDI. That statement screams of stupidity in my opinion. That could only be true if Dyna developed their timing curve using bingo cards. I am sure they used real machines and a dyno.
The HL forum is so full of crummy posts lately that I am gonna just delete my internet shortcut to it.
There - I just deleted it.

Interestingly enough Scott V. said they don't have any Dyno numbers. You would think that they had to use a dyno in fine tuning the timing curve. Maybe they just don't want to release it.
If any of you early testers have a dyno run I sure would love to see some numbers.

The first post made it pretty clear how long the wait may be.
OK, it’s finally here! The suggested retail price for the Prairie ignition will be $247.00. We are offering an additional 10% discount to you early birds and those that order before the end of April. It is important to get your order in ASAP since we need to know how many of each model to build for this initial run. You order should ship no more than 1-2 weeks after you place it. There are 2 models available, DFS2-12 for the 2001 2002 650 and DFS2-13 for the 2003 650 and 2004 700. You may order these directly from our website or by calling 626-963-1669. Website orders will have the discount applied when the order is entered.

Ordered mine two minutes ago. I imagine it will take a while to get up here, but now I'm glad I waited and didn't buy a module. A friend just bought a 700EFI and it will be nice to hand him his a$$! LOL
