12t front sprocket

Default 12t front sprocket

is there much difference in performance between a 13t and a 12 t sprocket for the front

a 12t countershaft sproket will gear down your quad more then a 13t. I put a 13t on my 02 lakota and it made a huge difference. A 12t would be better for mx style riding.

yes 12t gives you more low end , this is the stock sprocket on the lakota

a 13 gives you more speed, but really i dont notice any acceleration losses really.....however if you change the rear tires to 20inches, you will gain back lost acceleration and still have more speed, but not as much as with the 22 inch tires

wait a minute , a 12t front sprocket is the same as the stock one. i just ordered it of of a website because i could not find a 13t that fits a lakota

cancel the order. rocky mountain atv has a 13t sprocket for the lakota and at the best price, $6.99. hope you get it canceled soon enough.
