Default warn 2500 winch on 700p

I bought a new 2500 warn winch for my bike, and was wondering where do you mount the contacter box on the frame? Is there a mounting spot for this or do i need to make one?

If you take the seat off and look at what is under it, there will be a bar that runs across there about 4 to 6 inches towards the rear from the battery. All of the ones that I have installed/seen have been mounted under that bar. I will look at mine again when I get home and reply back if I can give a better description.

I'm going home RIGHT NOW to put my new CDI in and terrorize the asphalt in front of my house.....I will look while I have the seat off and let you know. Look for an answer in an hour or so.

O.K. take your seat off and you will see a round bar under your battery. The solenoid will mount to the back side of this round bar with the supplied bracket. The U-bolts come up from under the bar and the nuts go on top of the plate. You should be able to look right behind the middle seat mount and see the terminals on top of the solenoid after it is mounted. 2 things - hook up the wires before you mount the solenoid, then order a new CDI!!!!!!!! That thing is awesome!
