Sounds like you're in the same boat as me. After weeks of "Tire Kicking" I finally ordered the Radial Bighorns. My next choice would have been Goodyear Mudrunners but they are more mud than trail. Everyone says the Mudrunners are quite smooth and durable for a mud tire.

I love my bugs and i cant think of any tire that would do better. Heard a lot of good things about bighorns though, just never tried them.

I have a set of 27" Maxxis Mud Bugs and love them. I've owned ITP Mudlites, Goodyear Mudrunners, Mud Machine Bi/Tri Claws and Maxxis Mud Bugs and I can tell you that the Mud Bugs are the lightest Mud Trail tire at 23 lbs and they ride every bit as smooth as the Mudrunners but are a little better in the Mud. Plus the 25 inch Mudrunner weighs around 26 or 27 lbs! you won't be dissapointed with the Bugs! Good Luck with your choices.
