Default Prairie 700 vs. Suzuki Quadracer 250

Finally, my riding buddy got his LT250 totally rebuilt, ported, and polished. I just had to know. Could my P700 handle that thing in a drag race? His high-strung, lightweight 2 stroke vs. my bone stock, 600+ pound luxury liner with a 27 lb. winch. We raced for about 200 yards on a flat, sandy road. He had paddle tires. I had the 4X4 engaged, and the diff-lock engaged also. On the first run, he got the hole shot, gaining about 1/2 bike length on me, but that was it. On 3 subsequent races, I ran the rpm's up slightly before the start, and I jumped ahead for about 1/2 bike length. The quads seemed to run even throughout the run. No doubt, had we ran for 1/2 mile, his top speed would have been 5-7 mph higher, but I have to say, the P700 is one helluva machine.
