Default rear shock ques. i dunno

my 03 p650 seems to sit a little lower in the rear than my buddys. i was just wondering if the schrader valve on the remote resevior on the rear shock is adjustable (can i fill or deflate it) and can i fill it off a compressor or is it something special inside. if i check it with a tire guagu what psi should it be thankx for any help.

MOOSIN... 1st off, that is filled with nitrogen, not air... & while increasing the nitogen pressure does push the shock out to full extension, it is not designed to support weight, like an air shock... the nitrogen helps stabilize the oil, to decrease fade & rebound loss, as the shock heats up... Have you adjusted the springs preload adjustment to full adjustment ??? this is the only proper way to lift the back end with out a lift kit... the nitrogen pressure is typically at 125 - 160 psi... I've heard of people pumping it up to close to 300 psi... however this is not like pumping up an air shock...

i noticed the same thing with mine as well. but when i bought it it sat the same height as the other 650's. i have access to nitrogen. as far as the preload i wouldnt want it any harder, it doesnt take the woops that well now. one time i thought i was going to eat dirt, because she was comming over and all i could do is pray.

if the pressure is low that would mean that something is leaking wright?
do they sell rebuild kits for the rear shock?
