Dyna CDI
#1
Ok, I have done a search but still need a few more answers.
Is the Dyna CDI the best route to go? Or are there other makes of CDI's & modules that I should consider (highlifter, etc..)
Which of these is the easiest to install and upkeep... (i'm not too mechanically inclined so I am looking for a "plug and play" system.
Any concerns or additional wear that will occur because of the installation of the CDI?
what are the positives and negatives of such units...
Thanks

This is an easy one to answer, the DYNA CDI is the pnle one made for the Prairies. It is the easiest to install of any mod you could do other than adding air pressure to the tires! You lift the seat, unplug your CDI nad install the DYNA CDI, put the seat on and go ride! Oh and hold on tight because the DYNA CDI will give you an added boost that will amaze ya. It is very controlable added power and it gets rid of the timing retard that Kawi put in there to slow ya down. You have full power from the time you start it til you shut it off! The machines start easier and run better, I can only think of positives, I see no negatives!
On the other hand, the holeshot style moduals are about $147 to $120 cheaper. They do give you a boost just as they say in the take off and I know Diamond G Racing is about to release a new Holeshot modual that will pull and hold the power higher than most all of the other moduals. You do however with any modual have to cut into the wireing of your quad.
