Default hi and HELP...

hello everybody,well last week i got a new carb fitted to my bike(300 bayou)when i rode it it was running to lean,well i took to a person i know to fix it but now its runnig to rich(backfire,running rough)i was wondering where is the adjustment screw is so can have a go at it myself

I don't know where it is, but I'm pretty sure you can get a parts diagram from Kawi's website.

When does it run like that? Durrring engine breking, just off idle? More detail please.

it runs rough and backfires at about 1/4 to nearly full throttle,seems to idle fine.any ideas??

Had same prob with my 300 bayou - stuck needle from sitting, got gummed up. Was the carb you put on an exact replacment for your year/model? wrong jet size may be to blame --

yes its the same carb as the old one so dont know,got a fella looking at it tomorrow hopefully
