Finally. My stupid zone alarm was blocking me from completing this thread. I just wanted to let you know I got my CDI in the mail. The weather sucks here and I'm not to thrilled about installing it. I hope I don't need to re-jet.

It's easy to rejet, and the paper that comes with the cdi say's use of this ignition may require rejetting, you can bet it's gona help to go up at least one size (142f-145r). only my 2 cents.

 

FYI: Just got the new cdi yesterday and I plan to do some timed tests at 100' and 300' this morning to compare it to stock cdi plus DG holeshot module. As far as re-jetting goes, I have DAJs on my P650 so I am gonna try to test the new cdi with the standard DAJ setting (middle setting) and then again with one of the richer DAJ settings to see if it helps any. This may shed some light on whether its necessary to richen the mixture/rejet for the new cdi. I'll report back as soon as I can.
