Default 26 mudlites on 700

I just put a set of 26" mudlites on my suzuki twinpeaks(aka Prairie). What a difference these tires made in the mudding ability of the machine. I had 25 inch mudlites on my eiger for almost a year but the 26's will go like crazy. I see why everyone including me hate the stock duncraps. I can go in 2wd where I couldn't go in 4 wd with those things. I have not been trail riding with them yet but they don't seem to be a high speed trail riding tire, something I really never do anyway. I usually just set back and cruise and find a mud hole every now and then.

I know what you mean. I have a new p700 and after 25 hours of riding, I realized that I should have substituted the 26" mud lites for the stock tires as part of the buy. That tire change will be first thing to do when the money comes up and the wife calms down from me buying the 700. I went to get the 360, but luckily, I seen the light.

I do more fast trail riding then deep mud... so I'm looking at the new 26" ATR's. I've only been stuck about 5 times even with crap stock tires. I've just learned that the best method to go through deep mud is in high gear at full throttle!!

Have you priced Bourque's in Moncton? They have great prices on the mud lites at any time. I know guys here in Freddy Beach are buying parts and other supplies and Bourques will ship them to us Sameday Courier. With the cost of shipping, it is still much cheaper. They have a website( R. Bourque). They are also a Kawasaki dealer as of a couple of weeks ago.

I have 25" Mudlites on my 03 650 and I think they are great high speed tires, I averaged 30mph on a 50mi day but did travel a good 6mi at 40-45mph and they handled superb! This was a very curvy and hilly forest trail. Carved the high speed corners great and I spent a good hour in some black water swamp wishing I has 26", but they kicked *** I think.
My buddy has 27" Gators on his 650 and it was much more of a workout to handle on the trails, but handed it to me in the mud.
