How hard is it to install a pink spring? I've read on here that it easy, but dealer told me, you have to have special tool to remove the clutch.

 

http://www.700v.com/id24.htm Here is a web site that show how to change the spring. It is really easy I did it myself in about 10 minutes. The bolt in the center is left handed threds and usually pretty tight but it was still simple with basic hand tools. You will not need any special tools. The dealership must of been thinking about changing the secondary spring.
