what ages do you have to be to ride a quad ???? can you get in trouble???? for riding too big for you???

 

70-90cc 12 and older anything over that u have to be 16 but u wont get in trouble as long as u ride on your own property

 

Technically you can ride any quad at any age. Just because your say 13 and your on a quad that says 16 or older they cant do anything to you.

The kicker is if you get hurt while on a quad and your under the 16 yr old age requirement. Your parents can be held liable for child endangerment.

Personally 99% of us riders feel that the age thing is wrong. Should go by the kids weight and height instead. Put a 250 lb 15 yr old on a Raptor80 LOL.

The kid that cant ride a 150cc 4-stroke atv can ride a 500cc 2-stroke dirtbike. Makes no sense whatsoever.
