If there is still problems that is a different story.
Please start a new thread, and let’s try to stick with facts not rumors.
I think it would serve all better. If there is a problem that's real I want to know.

There was no reason to drag this back up top other than to try and give Dyna some more bad press by spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt). Seems typical here.
Dyna can't seem to keep the CDI's in stock to keep up with demand. Must be a horrible product with terrible service...

I was in the original batch of 'bad' cdi's with the kickback problem. I got my replacement quickly and scott at dyna was very professional to deal with. My new cdi will not kickback under any circumstance, including starting the engine with the throttle depressed. From a dead stop, no pulling on the handlebars it will wheelie out of control. To paraphrase an old saying " Sometimes, where there is smoke there is fire. And sometimes there is just an empty crackpipe."
What I mean is simply that people shouldn't believe all of the rumors read on here without doing a little search into their origins. Sometimes the rumors are real, othertimes they are non existant.
