Drag Racing at the local strip...
#12
I use Titan Turf Trac R/S 26x12x12 on .190 Douglas rims. They are lawn tractor tires. They have plenty of surface area, are soft, light as well, cheap, and taller for more top end. I did alot of searching around and that seems to be my best bet. I will let you know how they work May 15th, when I hit the strip.
Where I go they have a concrete starting pad that is sprayed with some kind of sticky stuff. You really hook up! It is mostly rubber anyway. The rest of the track is asphalt up hill at a slight angle. The reason is a short shut down.
I would stick with a taller tire, you have plenty of motor to get the top end!
