I would think the "coggs or ridges" would be necessary for proper heat transfer because they increase surface area of the belt? They may also help create more air flow.

But, keep us updated roscoe69.

I know the width but not the diameter/length. I may experiement with a P360 belt before the Summer is over.

I got a new belt by Dayco for my 650 about a week ago.
It does not have the top cogs. I do not think it will heat up the clutch or belt. The cvt system has a built in "blower" on the primary to create a positive pressure in the case.(cools and keeps out water, dust)

It looks like a good quality belt.(seen many, I'm a millwright)It's a couple of thousands wider than stock.

I only found out about the 700 belt after I ordered the 650.
However the HP2018 is still wider than the OEM belt.

I changed the belt. The original was glazed and getting a little hard. My fault, I tortured it by towing extremely heavy, snow plowing and I got it wet once with out giving it time to dry off.
P.S., it only has 1100kms.
The dayco belt was the exact same length as the OEM, but a bit wider. (30 to 40 thou)My digital vernier calipers battery starting to die, can't get an exact reading.

I reshimed it, and installed the belt. Man, I needed a new belt! I now remember why I bought this thing. It grabs much quicker than my tired belt, but "SEEMS" to be better than when it was new.

I will test top speed another day and let you know what the results are.

Oh by the way, the best place to buy a belt would be at an Industrial Supplier such as
Acklands Grainger.
In the past, I have found this type of supplier tends to charge less for belts and hoses.

I tried to search the belt on their online catalog, but I could not find it. However I was told that they do carry Dayco belts and can order it.

Is the extra width going to affect the Praire or V-Force at all? Is it about the same as a 360 belt or still not as wide?
