Default V vs. Raptor 660

I really think Kawi missed the mark with the V, I have looked at alot of bikes in the last month trying to decide... the v force has 2 benefits, easy of use and great motor after that the negatives are too plentiful, too heavy, too big, cheap looking plastic, inefficiency of belt drive (it needs big power same as a sled as belts drives put less hp to the ground). They are not a big hit with the Alberta dealers I can buy one for $8000 Cnd brand new which is over 2 grand off list, where as I can only get 700 Prairie for $700 under list $9600. I think they would have had a winner if they made a 4x4 like a scrambler.

That all said I've heard they work great in the dunes, but so does a Banshee.

Yah, if Kawi put 4x4 on the V-Force and kept it light I would get one. I know the Praire is almost that but the V-Force frame is different and looks sportier. I love my V-Force though. Its just a nice quad, its not the best, fastest, best ride, etc. It doesn't have to be, its got the pacakge, its got it all. Its good in all areas but excels in none, thats why people like it.

Me, I like the auto tranny, the shaft drive and motor. Its a tough sport quad that you can drive on the trails and if you see a mud hole, you can probably cross it. It can ride the dunes, it can drag.

I love my V.

(a little bit off topic) Here's the experience I had this past weekend in CALICO, CA (dry lake beds) w/ my V-Force vs. an 03' 660 Raptor (both stock): With plenty of room for top speeds, my V-Force was faster off the start each time (couldn't floor it off the bat, the front end comes up too easy- I'm 210 lbs). Once the Raptor hit top gear, he would pass me. I had him each time in acceleration.
