There still seems to be a wide variety of ways people are approaching airbox mods. Is there a consensus forming on what is best.

DG snorkle, NAPA hose, dual hoses, no hose at all,TPI vents, hole drilling, remove baffle?

I tried unsuccessfully to locate a old post from somebody who found NAPA hose slightly decreased power when using ATV dyno and PROFLOW machine.

So far I have just removed the stock snorkle and installed a NoToil foam filter (ride in very dusty conditions).

Muzzy exhaust and a degree key will probably be my next mods.

 

I think once the snorkel is removed, the difference in power with any other airbox mod would be hard to even notice. This is my take on it @ around 1100 ft.

 

i race gncc and leave the airbox alone and run hardstyle filter setup. just my 2cents

 

Hardstyle filter setup? Whats that? Pictures?

 

Its like a K&N with a Outerwear.It has an alum.plate on top of the filter.
