Ok, I took the family riding yesterday.... and my P700 would only run 63mph in 300yrds... Not sure what happened? It ran 68mph right after I put in the CDI, and it was stock otherwise, but it was a bit lean. since then, I did the nyroc pipe mod, went to 142/145 jets... it seems a tad rich..... but my speed dropped?? It even feels flat on top?? I'm picking up my napa hose today.... that should get the fuel air back into the right mix...... but do you think a bit rich on the main would slow the bike down that much??

Sounds to me as if your rich. Check your plugs and see.

 

With the rich condition, try opening up the air box for more air flow.

 

The muffler mod could have made u lose 2 or 3 mph. That would account for some of it.

 

Pop your airbox lid and flip the front clips under the lid,snap the back of lid down. If top end comes back you are rich. snorkle might take care of it.
