Rock tires and cheap rims
#1
I am looking to get a second set of rims and tires for the 650. I want something that is good on rock, hard pack, and maybe VERY light mud. I have 27" 589s on there now and need something a LOT better in the rocks. I was also looking for a decent set of rims for a decent price. Is there any 1" off set rims out there? do they hurt in any way? Been saving for a while for everything but still don't know what to get? THANKS

ITP Rims give you about 1" wider in front. Kissofdeath's machine is 1" wider in the rear than mine, but I think the tires gave him that. The front rims will give you a full 1" total width.
Badlands are great tires and they are inexpensive.

IMHO Badland XTRs are excellent tires. I can honestly say I would but the Badland radials over the ATRs. But, I would choose the 11" wide rear tire instead of the 10" as I think the added traction is needed on pull outs and wont slow the p650 down one bit anywhere else.
This is also arguble because nyroc and I were mostly neck and neck at our 300' drag strip almost everytime and he has 10" rear tires.
Paul, I honestly think you have a stronger P650 comparing pound for pound.
Paul, aka nyroc is correct in his measurements as I helped him measure. Paul, one thing I think we forgot about in the width measurement is half the width went to the inside. Its just like the height measurement, if you go from 25 to 27" tire you dont get 2" of height you only get 1". Hope I made sense with that but I know Im 100% correct.
Code54, although I have the c-series wheels I cant recommend them because they mud staing very easily. Mine are powder coated now. I would recommend the ITP C-series type 5 or 6 if you want some offset. The Douglas wheels as nyroc has wont give you any offset.
