To Sincity duner, i just recently purchased the boondockers system on my kfx-400. I hado to send the manifold back in because i was sent a old one. But even with the old manifold i didnt really feel any thing. I am still waiting for the new manifold to come in. What shot are u using and how much of a boost did it give you. Could you feel it?

K.O.D. ... IMO, the proper spring, is going to vary by the weight of the rider & quad, & the power output & power band of the engine... & while I'd have no doubts about your choice of springs, for your quad, or a mostly stock 650 / 700... FULLTHROTTLE, is obviously ( at least I'd assume by his forum name ), riding a lighter V Force, & also running an 800 cc FST equiped engine... there is likely a world of difference between what would work best on your quad, & his... ( sorry, didn't mean to bust your butt, the spring info is very valuable for the bulk of riders, just probably not FULLTHROTTLE )
FULLTHROTTLE... do you have the full FST kit, with Mickey's cams, or did you keep the stock cams ???... if you have the FST cams, likely DUNERS suggestion would work well for you... I will be testing several springs in the next few weeks, at the drag strip, however, my quad, while likely as powerfull as yours, will weigh much more, & this data, may not transfer to the lighter V Force...

TIM... I am sorry, It did sound like I was bustin your chops on that last post, & it was not at all my intention, & I should have reworded it, But was both too busy, & to lazy to retype... now here I am, apoligizing & typing... what I meant to say, was I doubted that those springs would work the best on his V Force....

Mike W, no apology needed , I know the tire size and other factors matter. But, I can only tell what I know.
Maybe my reply was misleading to someone trying to make a desicion and you were only trying to correct it. I understand that and am not upset at all. I would say shotgun has the best advice so far. Dale is pretty sharp on those springs.

my opinion dalton orange/black junk to, think bye my power and setup need spring with high shiftout, with at least 180lb or more at shiftout, tried epi yellow good spring just believe runnin out of clutch. shifting out to soon maybe 400ft and thats when she wants to go faster but wont. shiftout on that spring 145lb and dalton orange/black spring believe shiftout only little above 160lb not much better
