Default v force problems HELP

Just instaled new muzzy exaust and k&N fillter, jetted up 4 sizes (145F/148R) on main jet from were I was at ( jetting before 130F /135 R )and instaled .020washers under needles and two turns out on mixture screw. The bike ran like crap
I have jetted back down trying diferent combinations(142F/145R, 138f/142r,135f/138r) removed shims under needles with no luck. The bike wont rev out Idles fine and revs up but to ride has no mid. or top end. I changed my jetting back to stock(130F/135R) and still runs like crap. Any Ideas? My elevation is 5500 ft. any help would be appreciated Thanks, John A

Default v force problems HELP

I had the same problem. It would ide and rev up a little bit but it had no mid to top range. The reason was, I was going to shim the carb needles and took everything apart but couldnt find the shims so i put the carbs back together 3 days later without them in. By then the diaphram or "vacuum piston" has dried out and shrank just enough to make it not seal right. Or atleast thats what im suspecting and thats what others told me. I will find out if that was the problem tomorrow when i take them apart to fix them.
