It seems that most of the talk about this CDI has been negative lately and I understand why those who have complained feel the way they do. I would feel the same way If I had all of these expectations and all I got was a 250 bill and headaches. Now with that being said, I must say that I have been very happy with my CDI. My p650 definately starts easier, pulls harder, runs cooler (fan runs less) and runs about 4mph higher on the topend. My only dissapointment is that I bought my 589's in 25", I spin these like crazy now, I could easily have gone bigger + heavier and not lost the sporty feel too much....Just my 2cents on the whole issue.

My Dyna seems just fine, I have put about 50 miles on it with many starts and no kickbacks.
There is definitely a performance increase, fan runs a lot less, and throttle responce is better.
One of my better mods.

My experiences with Dynatek have been great. Scott is a good guy.

I'm Happy with my CDI as well. It runs a ton better than my stock CDI, plus it starts a heck of a lot easier. Even if it was defective I would just send it back and they would fix it. Nothing is perfect, so I wouldn't get upset about a little manufacturing goof. Heck I have had alot more expensive things be defective or even not work once I got it home. No big deal. I am very happy with my DYNA CDI. One question though, How do you know it is working like it should? LOL

We are very happy with the 5 CDIs we got,,, the performance gains are well worth the $250. I believe it to be the easiest mod anyone can do to a Prairie and get the most gains!
