IF the prairie 700 and the V 700 weighed the EXACT same would the Vforce still be faster? if so, why? just wondering..

 

Yes, because the cams are different and the timing is advanced a little more in the V-Force.

 

thanx bbertram... another queastion about the V.... after i get my prairie paid off im planing on buying a Vforce, WITH OUT buying a Big bore kit, can i make it faster than a yfz in a 300ft drag? if so what will it take and what will it cost? I know the V has the power in there but can i get it out?

 

are you talking a stock yfz?

 

Yah depends if your racing a stock YFZ or not. Most of them will remove the baffle, K&N and jet it. Then they move really quick. The V can be made to run with a YFZ on flat ground but not up dunes. If you get cams, CDI, Muzzy exhaust, feed it some cold air, run a blue, HPD plain or blue/orange spring in the primary and jet it perfectly you will run with a modded YFZ and should out run it.

one of them is 100% stock and the other 2 have exactly what you said, we have some steep coal hills around here but not 500+ft tall dunes (no dunes at all) so im not worried about up hill drags, we drag on flat ground and just play on the hills, most of out hills are to steep to drag up any how. is the mzzy exhaust dule??

 

Muzzy is a 2 into 1 exhaust with equal header length. Supposed to be the 2nd best pipe out there. The best is LTE, search for a post by Mickey Dunlap and you will see a link to them. They are supposed to be the best pipes and they are duals with equal header length, I think.


With the mods I listed you would beat them good.

 

The LTE was done on a 800 bike...so the gains could be complelty different when compared a stock bike

 

True but the performance should atleast equal the Muzzy's. So its a toss up between a 2 into 1 or duals.

 

has anyone recorded a sound clip of muzzy or lte's yet?? I want to hear them!
