Default Hill climbing

HI guys I just posted some pics of Me and a friend of mine climbing a hill at Spider lake riding area.

The hills are normally used by 4x4 trucks.. Tell me what you think?

The pics are in my Bio page.

RUTT... it takes 1-3 hours, depending on how busy the moderators are... if you look at my bio page, there are lotsa pics, but none climbing hills... not that I don't do it, but I have earned a pretty good respect for them... I have rolled my quad twice in hare scramble races, both times have been on steep hills... once was end over end backwards, from about 3/4 of the way up a long steep hill, with the quad landing on me at the bottom, & once was end over end forward, near the bottom of a very steep hill, with a jump at the bottom, & a sharp turn, 20 ft past the jump... both times I was able to finish the race... once while climbing a hill, at a hill climb area, during the winter, I thought it would be "cool" to bust through the snow drift that had drifted over the top of one of the hills... I found out, the hard way, that I lost too much traction, once I busted up the drift, & started sliding backwards... I ended up 1/2 on, 1/2 off ( ready to bail ), rolling backwards down the hill, & into the trees... the body plastic breaks easier on trees, during the winter...

I'll give your pics a look when they come up...

hehe, that was a bad call. I never should of went up that hill. I went back to that hill this weekend and I looked at it, all I can say, "What was I thinking?" Its almost a cliff at the top and a rock hard bump in the middle. The snow was covering alot of it up when I tried it last year. I would tackle the hill in this guys pictures with the V-Force but I wouldn't get very far, lol.

Ruttratt that looks and sounds like a great hill climb - nice and technical!

Yea that hill is fun. bbertram the hill is all sand coverd by rocks and trees that they put there to make it challanging.
There are actually two routes up the hill but the other one is way to technical as the trees they put down have even bigger drop offs. So if it was wet and muddy I don't know if we would have tried it like newbeattle said I have a great respect for hills as I too have rolled down them before and it isn't much fun.. LOL
