Anyone out there know which quad gives a softer ride between the Bayou 300 4x4 or the Big Bear 400 4x4?

 

Is this a 'which one to buy' question or to settle a bet or what are you thinking with this question? As you know, there are a lot more parameters involved than just comfort in choosing a quad. I have a chance to either pick up a Bayou 300 4x4 for $4300 or a Big Bear 400 4x4 for $4900.

I know that if you look at the specs that the Big Bear (almost 100cc more, oil cooler, more ground clearance and longer suspension travel) would be the better choice but because of a bad back, comfort is near the top of the list for me.

Also, which one is more reliable or are they about even?
