I went to www.keihin and they have very little information, thought I might find an e-mail address to ask that question.

didnt get to dig into my carb tonight, but i will take it apart tomorrow in search of the air jet---i may also take out the secretive starter jet and sink about a 155 in there and seewhat happens---you never know.

 

Carbs confuse me nearly as bad as these dang computers. Don't have a clue what a starter jet is. I think you may be on the right track when you tied it in with the choke system. Wonder if it would be worth while to contact Kawasaki and ask for a description of operation. A good blow by blow and what does what when would be invaluable.
