Differences between Prairie 700 and Suzuki Twin Peaks
I posted this on the Suzuki Twin Peaks thread but it belongs here too.
I just finished my move back to my house in the Wind river mountains of Wyoming and am now in a serious search for a machine. I had thought about something in the 400-500cc range but after reading about everyone's experience with a V twin, I'm leaning that way now. I rode a Kawi Prairie 700 at the dealers in Lander and loved the sound of the engine and the way it easily crawled over a divider curb about 10 inches high. Aside from a Vinson auto at another dealers, and an old Yamaha 300 2WD machine with a grass cutter, I really haven't been on another machine. So, the big question, what is the major differences between the Prairie 700 and the Twin Peaks? And, how good are these big machines in extremely rough terrain? Thanks in advance
