Default Prairie Out MUDS everthing

Friday i just got my prairie back from the welding shop and i just had 4 paddles welded on each side of my SRA so the set up is WHEEL 4 PADDLES UNI JOINT 4 PADDLES WHEEL. I took it out to the mud holes and NOTHING could come close to where the Prairie went I couldnt get stuck!! Whenever i went through ruts the paddles would just pull the quad through when all the IRS machines would bottom out. I was wondering if anyone else has done this or heard anything about it and how much extra strain is it puttin on the quad?

I like the idea of paddles and laughing at all other quads. How long are your paddles? I would think even 2" paddles would work enough to move you that extra big. My friend is all crazed about IRS quads and how they whooped on the SRA quads at the last derby. I wasn't there to stick up for the Praire but I will be next time.

I have a dumb question here, but what are paddles. I was out "mudding" yesterday with my brother in law who just got a brand new Grizz and I bottomed out, was stuck 3 times, high centered. He pulled me out and humiliated me by going back through the mud in 4 by 2...

My paddles are 4" and paddles are metal plates that i had welded on the axel so when i "bottom out" they push me out and keep me goin.

They could cause problems when riding over rocks and such but it wouldn't stop you. Really interesting idea. Got any pictures of your rear axle with the paddles? I would like to see how it was done.

Post them up !!

TO GET PICTURES SMALLER

1) right click on you picture and select open with Paint or Microsoft Paint
2) under the images tab if you click Attributes it will tell you how big your picture is now (needs to be
750x750 or under, try and get it as close as possible so the pic is good size)
3) under the images tab click on stretch and skew
4) change the horizontal & vertical to 60% and click ok (60% is good to start off with, you may have to
try different combinations. I always click Edit undo if its not then try again with a different number)
5) under the images tab if you click Attributes it will tell you how big your picture is now
6) save your picture as a .jpg file (.jpg will have a small file size) into an easly accessed folder
7) try uploading again to your page.
